Victoria is a partner in Dentons’ Almaty office with over 16 years ‘experience and advises clients on a wide variety of Kazakhstan and international law issues, including energy, corporate, construction, subsurface use, property, anti-monopoly legislation and finance matters. Victoria is experienced in negotiating and concluding concession contracts for the infrastructure projects. She has advised clients on a number of pipeline matters, including the transfer of the Kazakhstan national gas pipeline system and the construction of a number of oil and gas pipelines. Victoria is involved in the acquisition of assets and other interests in companies in the oil and gas, telecommunications and construction sectors. Victoria has advised on a number of major mergers and acquisitions.
Victoria Simonova is a member of the «Legal Working Group on Matters of Legislation of the Council of Foreign Investors under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan» which works closely with the Ministry of Justice and recently drafted changes to the Securities Law and the JSC Law.
